feat(webhooks): Emit inbox_updated when an inbox is disconnected (#14504)
Chatwoot now lets external apps know when an inbox loses its connection
and needs re-authentication. When a channel's authorization expires (for
example, an email inbox disconnects), Chatwoot fires an `inbox_updated`
webhook reflecting the new `reauthorization_required` status, and fires
it again once the inbox is re-authenticated. Integrators can keep their
own view of which inboxes are healthy without polling the API.

This is gated behind the `ENABLE_INBOX_EVENTS` installation flag — the
**Inbox updated** webhook subscription only appears in the dashboard
when that flag is enabled, so no event is offered that the backend
wouldn't dispatch.

Fixes
https://linear.app/chatwoot/issue/CW-7148/emit-inbox-webhook-when-an-inbox-is-disconnected

## How to test

1. Set `ENABLE_INBOX_EVENTS=true` and restart the app.
2. In **Settings → Integrations → Webhooks**, add a webhook and
subscribe to **Inbox updated**.
3. Disconnect an inbox — let an email/Instagram channel hit its
auth-error threshold, or run `inbox.channel.prompt_reauthorization!` in
a console.
4. The endpoint receives an `inbox_updated` event whose
`changed_attributes` shows `reauthorization_required` flipping to
`true`.
5. Re-authenticate the inbox (or run `inbox.channel.reauthorized!`) —
the endpoint receives the `true → false` transition.
6. Confirm the **Inbox updated** option is hidden when
`ENABLE_INBOX_EVENTS` is unset.

fix: index email subject from conversation for outbound messages (#14122)
## Summary

Outbound email messages never populate
`content_attributes.email.subject`. The subject lives only on the parent
conversation's `additional_attributes.mail_subject`. The search index
doc built by `Messages::SearchDataPresenter` pulls from the
message-level field only, so outbound email subjects are unsearchable
for accounts on the advanced_search (Elasticsearch) path.

This change makes the presenter fall back to
`conversation.additional_attributes.mail_subject` when the message-level
subject is blank. Inbound email messages keep their existing behavior
(message-level subject takes precedence).

Closes https://linear.app/chatwoot/issue/CW-6877

## What changes

- `Messages::SearchDataPresenter#content_attributes_data` now falls back
to the conversation's `mail_subject` when the message-level subject is
blank.
- Added specs covering the fallback, precedence, and the neither-set
case.

## What does not change

- No schema changes, no migrations, no backfill of existing OpenSearch
documents.
- Searchkick's `after_commit :reindex_for_search` on `Message` will pick
up the new field for all newly created or updated messages via the
existing indexing path.
- Postgres search path (free accounts, fallback) is untouched. Broader
subject search for those users is a separate follow-up.

fix: Send raw content in webhook payloads instead of channel-rendered markdown (#13896)
Webhook payloads (`message_created`, `message_updated`) started sending
channel-rendered HTML in the `content` field instead of the original raw
message content after PR #12878. This broke downstream agent bots and
integrations that expected plain text or markdown.
Closes https://linear.app/chatwoot/issue/PLA-109/webhook-payloads-send-channel-rendered-html-instead-of-raw-content

## How to reproduce

1. Connect an agent bot to a WebWidget inbox
2. Send a message with markdown formatting (e.g. `**bold**`) from the
widget
3. Observe the agent bot webhook payload — `content` field contains
`<p><strong>bold</strong></p>` instead of `**bold**`

## What changed

Split `MessageContentPresenter` into two public methods:
- `outgoing_content` — renders markdown for the target channel (used by
channel delivery services)
- `webhook_content` — returns raw content with CSAT survey URL when
applicable, no markdown rendering (used by `webhook_data`)

Updated `Message#webhook_data` to use `webhook_content` instead of
`outgoing_content`.

fix(mailbox): handle malformed sender address headers (#13486)
## How to reproduce
When an inbound email has malformed sender headers (for example `From:
McDonald <info@example.com` without a closing `>`), mailbox
processing can raise `Mail::Field::IncompleteParseError` while resolving
sender data in `MailPresenter`.

## What changed
This PR hardens sender parsing in `MailPresenter` with a small, readable
implementation:
- Added/used a safe parser (`parse_mail_address`) that rescues
`Mail::Field::ParseError` and `Mail::Field::IncompleteParseError`.
- `sender_name` now uses the same safe parser path.
- `original_sender` now resolves candidates in order via a compact
`filter_map` flow:
  - `Reply-To`
  - `X-Original-Sender`
  - `From`
- All three candidates are parsed as email addresses before use
(including `X-Original-Sender`), and invalid values are ignored.
- `notification_email_from_chatwoot?` now compares sender addresses
case-insensitively (`casecmp?`) to avoid case-only mismatches.

## Test coverage
Added focused presenter specs for:
- malformed `From` header returns nil sender values and does not
classify as notification sender
- malformed `Reply-To` falls back to valid `From`
- valid `X-Original-Sender` is used when present
- invalid `X-Original-Sender` falls back to valid `From`
- mixed-case sender address still matches configured
`MAILER_SENDER_EMAIL`

## How this was tested
Ran:
- `bundle exec rspec spec/presenters/mail_presenter_spec.rb`
- `bundle exec rubocop app/presenters/mail_presenter.rb
spec/presenters/mail_presenter_spec.rb`

fix: preserve newlines and formatting in Twilio WhatsApp messages (#13022)
## Description

This PR fixes an issue where Twilio WhatsApp messages were losing
newlines and markdown formatting. The problem had two root causes:

1. Text-based renderers (WhatsApp, Instagram, SMS) were converting
newlines to spaces when processing plain text without markdown list
markers
2. Twilio WhatsApp channels were incorrectly using the plain text
renderer instead of the WhatsApp renderer, stripping all markdown
formatting

The fix updates the markdown rendering system to:
- Preserve newlines by overriding the `softbreak` method in WhatsApp,
Instagram, and PlainText renderers
- Detect Twilio WhatsApp channels (via the `medium` field) and route
them to use the WhatsApp renderer
- Maintain backward compatibility with existing code

## Type of change

- [x] Bug fix (non-breaking change which fixes an issue)
- [ ] New feature (non-breaking change which adds functionality)
- [ ] Breaking change (fix or feature that would cause existing
functionality not to work as expected)
- [ ] This change requires a documentation update

## How Has This Been Tested?

Added comprehensive test coverage:
- 3 new tests for newline preservation in WhatsApp, Instagram, and SMS
channels
- 4 new tests for Twilio WhatsApp specific behavior (medium detection,
formatting preservation, backward compatibility)
- All 53 tests passing (up from 50)

Manual testing verified:
- Twilio WhatsApp messages with plain text preserve newlines
- Twilio WhatsApp messages with markdown preserve formatting (bold,
italic, links)
- Regular WhatsApp, Instagram, and SMS channels continue to work
correctly
- Backward compatibility maintained when channel parameter is not
provided

feat: Standardize rich editor across all channels (#12600)
# Pull Request Template

## Description

This PR includes,

1. **Channel-specific formatting and menu options** for the rich reply
editor.
2. **Removal of the plain reply editor** and full **standardization** on
the rich reply editor across all channels.
3. **Fix for multiple canned responses insertion:**
* **Before:** The plain editor only allowed inserting canned responses
at the beginning of a message, making it impossible to combine multiple
canned responses in a single reply. This caused inconsistent behavior
across the app.
* **Solution:** Replaced the plain reply editor with the rich
(ProseMirror) editor to ensure a unified experience. Agents can now
insert multiple canned responses at any cursor position.
4. **Floating editor menu** for the reply box to improve accessibility
and overall user experience.
5. **New Strikethrough formatting option** added to the editor menu.

fix: Optimize Message search_data to prevent OpenSearch field explosion (#12786)
## Description

Refactored the `Message#search_data` method to prevent exceeding
OpenSearch's 1000 field limit during reindex operations.

**Problem:** The previous implementation serialized entire ActiveRecord
objects (Inbox, Sender, Conversation) with all their JSONB fields,
causing dynamic field explosion in OpenSearch. This resulted in
`Searchkick::ImportError` with "Limit of total fields [1000] has been
exceeded".

**Solution:** Whitelisted only necessary fields for search and
filtering, and flattened JSONB `custom_attributes` into key-value pair
arrays to prevent unbounded field creation.

- [ ] New feature (non-breaking change which adds functionality)
- [ ] Breaking change (fix or feature that would cause existing
functionality not to work as expected)
- [x] This change requires a documentation update

## How Has This Been Tested?

- Verified rubocop passes with no offenses
- Code review of search field usage from
`enterprise/app/services/enterprise/search_service.rb`
- Analyzed actual search queries to determine required indexed fields

**Still needed:**
- Full reindex test on staging/production environment
- Verify search functionality still works after reindex
- Confirm field count is under 1000 limit

## Changes Made

### Before
- Indexed 1000+ fields (entire AR objects with JSONB)
- `inbox` = full Inbox object (23+ fields + JSONB)
- `sender` = full Contact/User/AgentBot object (10+ fields + JSONB)
- `conversation` = full push_event_data
- Dynamic JSONB keys creating unlimited fields

### After
- ~35-40 controlled fields
- Whitelisted search fields: `content`, `attachment_transcribed_text`,
`email_subject`
- Filter fields: `account_id`, `inbox_id`, `conversation_id`,
`sender_id`, `sender_type`, etc.
- Flattened `custom_attributes`: `[{key, value, value_type}]` format
- Helper methods: `search_conversation_data`, `search_inbox_data`,
`search_sender_data`, `search_additional_data`

## Checklist:

## Post-merge Steps

After merging, the following steps are required:

1. **Reindex all messages:**
   ```bash
   bundle exec rails runner "Message.reindex"
   ```

2. **Verify field count:**
   ```bash
   bundle exec rails runner "
     client = Searchkick.client
     index_name = Message.searchkick_index.name
     mapping = client.indices.get_mapping(index: index_name)
     fields = mapping.dig(index_name, 'mappings', 'properties')
     puts 'Total fields: ' + fields.keys.count.to_s
   "
   ```

3. **Test search functionality** to ensure queries still work as
expected

feat(v4): Update the report pages to show aggregate values (#10766)
This PR updates the report pages for agents, inboxes, and teams by
replacing charts with aggregate values (under a feature flag). Users can
click on any item to view more details if needed. Most users seem to
prefer aggregate values, so this change will likely stay.

The PR also includes a few fixes:

- The summary reports now use the same logic for both the front-end and
CSV exports.
- Fixed an issue where a single quote was being added to values with
hyphens in CSV files. Now, ‘n/a’ is used when no value is available.
- Fixed a bug where the average value was calculated incorrectly when
multiple accounts were present.

These changes should make reports easier to use and more consistent.

6e12ba04ab fix: last_activity_at is nil when conv is created (#9934)
The payload does not include last_activity_at when the conversation is created. Because of this the frontend is not able to sort the conversations when appending this. Another problem is that the last_activity_at is not always present, it is added only when a message is created, and it updates it. So this can be nil when the conversation is created, so we fallback to created_at only at the presentation layer
